  • Single-satellite programme for high-resolution land observation.  Previous name: TWSat (Third World Satellite).
  • Indian programme: ISRO responsible of development and operations.
  • The platform is actively stabilised over 3 axes.
  • The design life time is 2 years.
  • The satellite exploits a sunsynchronous orbit at 9:30.

Data circulation
  • Real-time downlink to a network of appointed acquisition stations in S-band.
  • All data concentrated to the National Remote Sensing Center (NRSC) in Hyderabad for processing and distribution.
