Programme description
  • Series of small satellites for high-resolution land observation.
  • Planned constellation of 138 satellites by 2030.
  • Chinese commercial programme: developed for the China Center for Resources Satellite Data and Application (CRESDA) by Chang Guang Satellite Technology Co., Jilin Province, that also is in charge of satellite operation.
  • Three-axes stabilised satellites.
  • The design lifetime is 3 years.
  • The replacement policy is based on a costellation of redundant satellites to provide frequent revisit time.
  • Most orbits are sunsynchronous, with ECT around 10:30.
