Purpose To study the transport dynamics of mass, momentum, and energy between the magnetospheric and ionospheric plasma and to study the merging in the magnetotail
Short description Fluxgate and search coil magnetometers for DC and AC measurements, respectively. Two sets of the fluxgate magnetometers were deployed at distances of 4 and 6 m along the 6 m mast. Measurement ranges: ± 16 nT, ± 64 nT, ± 256 nT, ± 1024 nT, ±4 096 nT, ± 16384 nT, and ± 65536 nT, Resolution ± 8 nT @ maximum of the dynamics, accuracy 0.006 nT
