Jochen Kerkmann and HansPeter Roesli presented a case study comparing imagery of the Tropical Cyclone Enawo captured by both satellites, Meteosat-8 and Meteosat-10. Using EUMeTrain ePort Pro to show the comparisons, they concluded Meteosat-8’s new position over the Indian Ocean (replacing Meteosat-7) allows for better quality imagery of Indian Ocean Tropical Cyclones.
