Short description Assemblage of units for: monitoring of gamma-ray burst energy spectra over the energy range 10 keV to 10 MeV; measurement of burst time histories in three energy ranges covering 10 to 770 keV; high-time-resolution measurement (2 ms resolution) for the high-intensity sections of a burst time history; and continuous measurement of the gamma ray and cosmic ray background, interrupted only to read out bursts
